Holy Week, the most sacred week of the Christian year, begins on Palm Sunday and culminates with the feast of the Resurrection, Easter Day. The Book of Common Prayer appoints proper readings for each day of Holy Week (pp. 138-162). The Gospel readings focus on the passion, trial, crucifixion, and death of Jesus Christ.
Holy Week services at St. John’s will be held in the Loyal Builders room, which is behind the church sanctuary across the hall, and are as follows:
Maundy Thursday, March 28, 7:00 pm: Holy Communion and Foot Washing (The Maundy)
Good Friday, March 29, 7:00 pm: Good Friday Liturgy
